These are the five fundamental stressors, or sources of stress, that can affect us on a daily basis. That said, you need to learn how to manage the deriving stress consistently and strategically! The following basic formula has been presented and discussed in various publications and presentations by Dr. Livingston: E + P = R/T E = the environment that has multiple potential stressors; P = is the person’s perception of the events in E; and R = the possible response outcomes (health conditions); and T = time.
